Our Performance - Recovery Formula Key Ingredients
Milk Protein Isolate
Blend of casein and whey proteins that contains 90% crude protein (minimum) and approximately 3% fat. The casein component is more slowly digested than the whey, providing a slow and steady release of amino acids into the body. Milk protein isolate is a completely balanced protein that contains the branched-chain amino acids, leucine, and isoleucine, important for optimal muscle growth and activity. It has also been shown to prevent bone breakdown and have anti-inflammatory effects in the body.
8 Critical Amino Acids
Complementing functional properties of milk protein isolate are eight amino acids critical to supporting the active – working dog. Working synergistically to overcome the development of an acidic pH (lactic acid) that leads to muscle fatigue, increase muscle mass, boost anaerobic strength, improve muscle recovery, boost endurance, rid the body of harmful amino acid breakdown, ammonia, increase blood flow, aid in the production of energy from fat and important functionality in the heart and brain.

- Our Super Fuel formula is designed for dogs over 6 months of age. Our recommendation would be our Puppy Gold® formula. Puppy Gold is formulated similarly to canine mothers’ milk to support your puppy’s development after weaning. Puppy Gold includes powerful ingredients that include the primary building blocks of muscle, bone, tendon, ligaments, articular cartilage and other connective tissues. Pups should remain on Puppy Gold until 12 months of age and transition to our other formulas.
