- Digest Forte contains a very powerful blend of “biotic” ingredients - probiotics, prebiotics, synbiotics, and postbiotics that supports the dog’s optimal digestive balance. EpiCor® is a postbiotic and contributes to the promotion of a healthy gut microbiota that, in turn, contributes to the health of the digestive system itself as well as to other organ systems. ProbioSEB Duo™ is a synbiotic, a mixture of probiotic microorganisms and a prebiotic. The probiotic organisms include Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus coagulans, and Lactobacillus sporogenes. The synbiotic is complemented by the presence of the longer chain fructan, chicory inulin, and the yeast beta-glucans and mannanoligosaccharides (MOS).
- 75% of the immune system is in the digestive tract (called “gut-associated lymphoid tissue”), so whatever is good for the digestive tract also is good for the immune system. My puppy started having some weird hair loss and loss of skin pigmentation on her nose and inner eye area at around 8 months (about the same time she came into season for the first time). After I made sure there wasn’t anything physically wrong with her, her breeder suggested an immune supplement as some dogs experience a drop in their immunity during this period of their life. I tried another supplement first and it definitely helped, but it wasn’t until I tried Digest Forte that her hair started growing back. And while I don’t think her nose will ever get the original pigment back, her inner eye area did darken to its original color.
I should also add that when I looked into the digest forte I reached out to K9 Power and one of their vets reached out and we discussed this product in conjunction with the other supplements I give to be sure nothing shouldn’t be mixed. And, when I reached out to the company that was producing the other immune supplement, all I received back were vague responses that were a little worrisome as it pointed out that they didn’t actually know the nutritional content of the product.
I’m so impressed that I know I will continue to include this in her routine forever. And am glad to have a brand I can trust for results.

We've been using K9 Power - Digest Forte™ for several years now. and really like it. Recently the container was changed from being a short wide one to a taller one with a narrower top. That was A MISTAKE! It's very difficult to get the scoop (even the longer handled one you sent to me - thank you for doing that) won't reach the bottom of the container, and I have to use an ice teaspoon instead of the measuring scoop. Please go back to the shorter wider containers!!!
