- Super Fuel is appropriate for any breed of dog that is working, exercising, or competing in the various dog sports. Super Fuel not only enhances exercise tolerance and maximizes muscle efficiency and endurance but promotes speedy recovery, one of the most important components to exercise and activity. As with anyone involved in a gym or an exercise routine, recovery is critical to replenishing the body's energy stores. Targeted nutrition along with rest allows the muscles to recover, thereby reducing muscle fatigue and preparing the muscles for their next workout. Today’s Performance is Yesterdays Recovery!
- Super Fuel is designed as a post activity formula like a post workout protein drink for people. Simply give Super Fuel on your dog’s regular meal at the end of the day. This will begin the recovery process.
- Super Fuel and Go Dog is the optimal combination for any active dog. Go Dog given before and during activity and Super Fuel at the end of the day on a meal is a great combination that will cover all the basis for any active dog.
- Our Super Fuel formula is designed for dogs over 6 months of age. Our recommendation would be our Puppy Gold® formula. Puppy Gold is formulated similarly to canine mothers’ milk to support your puppy’s development after weaning. Puppy Gold includes powerful ingredients that include the primary building blocks of muscle, bone, tendon, ligaments, articular cartilage and other connective tissues. Pups should remain on Puppy Gold until 12 months of age and transition to our other formulas.
- It is certainly okay for you to give your dog more than one of our supplements. If you are using two supplements, we recommend splitting them between AM and PM meals. Anytime you start a new supplement, we recommend you introduce it slowly with ½ of the recommended amount and gradually work up to the full amount over 7-10 days. Once your dog acclimates to the first supplement, you can introduce the second one on the same starting schedule.

We use K9 Power Super Fuel when training and competing with our dogs. Not only does it help our K9 athletes recover from a hard workout or competition, but they love the taste of it too! We don't leave home without it especially in the summer months when our dogs are working extra hard in the heat. It also encourages our picky drinkers to hydrate better. A must have in our gear bag!

I use Super Fuel for keeping my dogs ready for work. It gives them energy and helps keep their muscles in shape. My 2 - 13-year-old dogs receive it. It gives my 13-year-old the energy to get up and move around as opposed to sleeping and not moving as much. I can tell the difference it makes. I would recommend this product if you have working dogs and older dogs that need a little get up and go.
